Amstaff is as you might know a show breeding of the American Pit Bull Terrier. The Amercian Pit Bull Terrier is a very old breed. For you who dont know that it might be interesting to see these photos and drawings, some of them are postcards.
Here under is some old postcards with Pitbulls on them. You can easily see how much the owners loved their dogs and how proud they were of them.
Photographing was expensive at that time and a big thing for the "Working man". They took the best and most valued they had and put in front of the camera, the kids, the wife, the car sometimes AND of course their higly valued family member, The American Pit Bull Terrier.
