Here is a little short text about the subject. I will update it with more. But you can yourself Google on it for more info. If you want to feed your dogs this way you have to learn properly all about the nutrition they need. There is plenty of books on the subject.
We have tried BARF and must say its very good. The dogs do very well.on BARF and they eat everything, bones and all, they must
have a certain amount bones for the digestion.
Its a BIG different in how the dog works and looks since we started with BARF.
The fur is more shiny and the dog gets smarter and more muscular. I suggest you
loan or buy a book on the subject.
BARF stands for " Bones and raw food". When you have studied it and
tried it out, you will never give your dog anything else. You can buy BARF
thats frozen i suppose, we have it here in Sweden. Its more expensive then dry pellets.
Its about how much one can afford. Having more then two dogs it can be very
expensive.
To buy raw meat and fish in a store gets to expensive of course. Best is to
have an own farm as we are going too have. Then we will have more dogs and feed
them all BARF. You have a couple of links here just to get a little general info
about it. But to feed BARF if you are going to fix the food yourself for your
dogs you have to know a lot about it. Study it and you will be able to do it;)
