SGT Stubby. An Amercican Pit Bull Terrier that 1917 was decorated with the Purple Heart for his service in the 1st World War. That is the finest medal for bravery a soldier can get. Sgt Stubby is only one of the many heroes of this breed. He got the Purple Heart for saving his comrades from dieing of an attack of mustard gas in their sleep. Sergeant Stubby got to meet 3 presidents during his lifetime and saved the lives of approximately 500-1000 comrades. Imagine a dog just working on, doing his job of guarding his friends when they are sleeping and relying on him. Doing this when the grenades are raining around him now and then. He was not pissing on himself, he did his job. Thats is what at Pit Bull does.
